You have found your way to the doors of The Velarium, a cafe, and bathhouse founded by Viera Twins Pela and Sia. Within our borders, you may find rest and respite at no cost to your coin purse. Feast upon the delights from our kitchen, quench your thirst with one of our cocktails or refreshments, or relax in one of our many baths.All of our baths offer rich natural minerals pulled from the springs beneath the lavender beds. Baths downstairs are temperature controlled and filtered, maintained at a hot 45C/113F. The bath outside is only lightly filtered and not temperature controlled, sitting at around a temperature of 34C/93F due to the cooling nature of the rocks and air. Try a relaxing face mask, a kelp bomb, or one of our bath oils to heighten your experience.The cafe upstairs offers a more lively seating area in front of our stage, where anyone is welcome to perform should they find an opening. There is also a quiet corner to relax, take a rest, or read something from our library share. Feel free to leave a book you wish to share or take one that perhaps interests you.Our kitchens are equipped with some of the most state-of-the-art ranges and cold boxes, allowing us to deliver a broad menu of fresh items. All of our produce are grown on-site or by the owners, and all other ingredients are sourced from local markets to ensure the freshest quality you can find. Our talented team of cooks have many awards behind them and cook for the passion of it, hoping you will feel satiated and recharged after your meal.Our bar downstairs is fully stocked with a wide variety of liquors and spirits, some locally brewed, while others are sourced from affiliates and reputable merchants. About our venue

The Velarium began as a joint project between Viera twins Pela and Sia. Wishing to combine their talents and work together the brother and sister duo refurbished their Free Companies property and opened the cafe and bathhouse. Their goal was to offer a safe place for all sorts to find a moment of respite, offering both clean relaxing baths and a broad menu of delicious delectables. The food and baths are always free and the staff is composed entirely of volunteers who dedicate their time to keeping the space.

Our Rules

-Our venue is meant to be a safe, relaxing, and immersive RP space, please keep all general chat SFW out of respect for your fellow patrons. You will receive one warning. Repeat offenders will be banned. You are welcome to use party or tells for your NSFW fun times. (We also have private rooms for use, just ask!)-We do not tolerate any form of bigotry, sexism, racism, or any form of harassment. You will receive one warning for a breach of this rule, pending circumstances. Be kind and respectful of each other and each other’s boundaries.-We ask that you kindly tuck away your pets and companions to help keep the venue’s numbers friendly. We ask that any weapons not used for the purposes of RP, ie books/cards/etc, please be tucked away while visiting the venue!-Please keep all NSFW content to the appropriate channels in Discord, and in private or party chat while in the venue. While we allow 18+ and NSFW content we require it to be kept in places people must consent to see.-Any NSFW content containing Lalafells, minors, or non-consensual content is not permitted in our venue, discord server, or otherwise. There will be no warnings for a breach of this rule!-Please do not self-promote without first seeing a staff member, we are always happy to partner up and add you to our list of affiliates!-No spamming channels, or the chatbox. Please be respectful so we don’t have to mute you. This goes for griefing and troll-roleplaying.-Please use the RP tag to indicate whether you are IC or not.
